I'm Brad. I run Team Name Huddle, and I read every name before it goes on this site.
I started playing fantasy football in 2002, a couple of years after college, and never stopped. For years my league traveled to a different city every summer just to hold the draft in person. I have been the commissioner of two leagues, one that ran for 8 years and one that ran for 15. I have won exactly two championships in 24 seasons, one in each league. The rest of the time I finish somewhere in the middle of the pack, which I mention so you know I am honest about my rankings and my trophies.
I'm a computer engineer by trade. In 2005 I built Cheat Sheet War Room, a free fantasy football cheat sheet builder, because I was tired of prepping for drafts in spreadsheets that went stale the moment projections changed. That project taught me web development and landed me my first developer job. Twenty years later it has around 38,000 users who have built over 300,000 draft sheets.
Team Name Huddle is the other half of my fantasy football brain. Rankings are work. Names are fun. A great team name outlives the season, and finding truly original ones on the web was so frustrating that I started collecting and writing them myself, then brought in comedy writers to make the lists better than I could alone.
